Great location and friendly staff

We stayed here for a night and the location was perfect for hitting up the Christmas markets! The bar was super cozy and the staff were really great. Our room was just okay though. it felt kinda tired. Still, it did the job for a quick stay.

I had a lovely stay while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere nearby and the convenience of being just a less than 5-minute walk from People's History Museum and minutes away from excellent tram access, making it easy to explore further afield.

Noise becomes an issue, particularly with traffic and foot traffic during the night, which can disrupt sleep and hinder comfort. Breakfast starts later than advertised, causing confusion, and while the food served eventually was plentiful, the selection felt limited. Had some trouble with a broken curtain rail left unaddressed, leading to a DIY solution. On top of that, unexpected loud water discharges from above in the early morning hours could easily disturb anyone trying to get rest.

The pub downstairs was lively and the food was decent which made a chaotic weekend enjoyable and the staff went out of their way to help us get an early check-in which was a lifesaver for our plans

The location of the Oxnoble is fantastic. It’s close to lots of bars and restaurants. The room I had was a decent size, clean, and cozy. Staff friendliness stood out. they were helpful whenever I needed assistance. the bathroom could use some attention. The shower area felt cramped, and the decor in the hallways seemed outdated and in need of a refresh. The breakfast options were limited, with only traditional English fare, and I would have liked more variety, especially for lighter eaters. Some noise from the street filtered in, but it didn’t keep me up at night.

I enjoyed my stay for two nights in a cozy Double Room with private bathroom. The quirky charm of the place added to the experience, and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the full English which was delicious and freshly made. While the room had a bit of wear and tear, it kind of added to its character. a little more attention to cleanliness could definitely improve the experience.
